5/12/10 Bode celebrates his ROMC with the finish of his 10th Canadian Champion Can Ch Belmark's A Piece Of The Puzzle. He is the youngest bi-black in breed history to attain this honor at 4 years of age!!

5/8/10 Belmark Noteworthy "Easton", was WD and BW in Grey Summit MO both Friday and Saturday for 2 points each, so he is minored out with 13 points one major, now for that last win!!!

5/1/10 Belmark Noteworthy "Easton", was WD and BW on 4/30 and 5/1 for 2 points each! We are so proud of this lovely and typey blue boy. Thanks to handler extraordinaire Becky Johnson.

4/25/10 Can Ch Belmark Vermillion "Ohio", is now US pointed at his first show going WD and BW under breeder judge Melanie Williams. This is a great honor and a great start for this young boy, he will be out at selected shows and then out with Becky when Easton comes home.
 
4/17/10 Belmark Covewind Tiki Bar, was WB for 2pts.each day at Chautauqua shows on April 9,10 &11.
She finished her Can. Ch. by going BW for a 5pt. specialty win under judge Kathy Wilkins at the Shetland Sheepdog Fanciers Club, Edmonton Specialty on April 17th.  All patiently handled by Bev Klassen.  She makes Can. Ch. #5 for her dam "Fizz" & Can. Ch. #9 for her sire  "Bode".  Yippee!! Congrats to owners and friends: Kim and Paul Unger of Covewind Shelties.

4/17/10 Belmark Noteworthy goes BB from the puppy class under Jim Frederickson, at the WI shows.

4/3/10 Belmark Noteworthy is now major pointed with a 4 point specialty win under breeder judge Suzanne Healy at the SSC of Greater Fort Worth. Big huge thanks to handler and friend Becky Johnson for his first points and a major at that. We think this little guy is special and I'm glad he is on his way!

3/27/10 It is now Ch Belmark Celestial, finishing entirely out of the 6-9 month class!! This little bitch had three majors with two specialty majors including her last one a 5 point win at the St Louise SSC under breeder judge Mark McMillan. We are so happy for "Bliss' success and to her many fans.

3/27 and 3/28 Belmark's A Piece Of The Puzzle a Bode x Kelley puppy picked up back-to-back Best of Winners, Best Puppy in Breed for 4 points each time, his first time out. He only needs 2 points to finish. This would make Bode's 9th Canadian Champion.

3/21/10 It is now Brazillian/Can Ch Belmark Paris In The Spring, Am ptd. Congrats to owner Arnaldo Nielson, winning a BOB and 3rd in the competitive Group 1

3/14/10 Felicity Bootylicious, "Sam" goes WB for a single, she is up to 10 points now going into maternity leave. Thanks to friend and handler Becky Johnson for staying home while we were heading to the National and hitting some shows. Sam is due first week in April with a litter to Am/Can Ch Belmark Shakedown

2/28/10 Belmark Noteworthy, "Easton", took back-to-back RWD at the same time at the Central Ohio SSA. This is a nice start to this young puppy. He made us very proud and was very well received. We will now pack up for the National! See you there.

2/28/10 Belmark Celestial, "Bliss" has taken back-to-back WB and BOS from the 6-9 month class this weekend at the International shows..... in three weekends she now has 11 points both majors and a long list of fans!! Thanks to all and handler Becky Johnson, who has done it all.

2/21/10 It is now Am/Can Ch Belmark Second To None, as "Wyatt takes another 4 point major. Huge congrats to owner: Beverly Klassen, handler: Becky Johnson, sire for Am Ch #5 and dam for Am Ch #3!!!

2/20/10 Belmark Celestial, wins again going WB, BW, BOS in IA for a 5 point major! She also got a RWB the day before at the specialty. This little girl  is always in the standings and she only just now started to hit the ring. We are so very proud of her and know she will go far. Thanks also to all her supporters ringside!
We also congratulate Can Ch Belmark Second To None for going WD today for a 4 point major. This lovely Ch Bode x Ch Fizz kid only needs a major to finish! Congrats to owner Beverly Klassen.  

2/13/10 Belmark Celestial, wins a WB and BW at the Central Indiana SSC for a 4 point major under breeder judge Diane Hawes. Followed by a RWB the following day under Linda Robe. Thanks to her handler Becky Johnson (pictured above) for starting this little girl out on the right foot. This little cutie is by Am/Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Bragging Rights. Watch for her at the upcoming shows, the National and then back out with Becky!

2/12/10 It s now Can Ch Belmark Vermillion!! Now to the ASSA National and then home.

2/6/10 Belmark Vermillion, won 5 points in Canada under the presentation of Bev Klassen. This rich sable boy is by Ch Macdega Notorious and is just over a year of age now and coating back up, watch for him in the states once he gains that last single Canadian point!

12/14/09 Can Ch Belmark Shake That Booty, picked up a 4 pt major at the Cleveland SSC/Crown Classic under respected breeder/judge Harriet Smith. This brings Bindy to 6 points, she is just now starting to coat up and will be at the shows this coming year. Watch for this little bombshell in the ring. We would also like to congratulate Carol Metz for picking up a second major (and a major reserve) on her "Bode" son, Karefree Casting Crowns at the same show weekend.

10/30/09 Felicity Bootylicious, Am mjr pts, wins WB for 3 points at the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers Club in Abbotsford Can, under respected judge Jean Fornier. Big thanks to handler extraordinaire Beverly Klassen for the expert handling.

10/18/09 It is now Am/Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred!! She finished today under the capable hands of Becky Johnson at the Springfield IL show under Edwina Teddy McDowell. She went WB and BOS for that last win!! This is our 7th bred by Champion so far this year! The future looks bright

9/19/09 "Sprite" Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, just won her third Specialty major, now under Judy Kelsey, going WB, BW and BOS for another 4 points! Only one point to go, so we have our fingers crossed for a nice fast finish. Big thanks to Becky Johnson for her expert handling and care of Sprite.

8/30/09 "Ohio" Belmark Vermillion, wins two more points towards his Canadian title. Big thanks to his wonderful handler for all his wins.

8/23/09 "Esta" Can Ch Belmark A Sight To Behold, is now finished with a WB and BOS!! This is Canadian Champion number 8 for sire Ch Bode! the finish line is near!! HUGE thanks to handler Bev Klassen who shot another one out of the ball park.

8/22/09, 8/23/09 "Wyatt" Belmark Second To None, owned by good friend Beverly Klassen wins back-to-back WD at St Charles IL, thanks to Becky Johnson for her excellent presentation and to judges Monica Canestrini and Thomas Kilcullen. "Wyatt" is a full brother to Sprite, Bindy, Shakem and the young one Shay, as well as many others.

8/22/09 "Esta" Belmark A Sight To Behold, win BW and BOS today. Thanks to breeder judge Barry Hastings, who saw the quality of this small plain tri girl. Esta now has 6 Canadian points, we hope she will be the next "Bode" kid to finish!!

8/21/09 "Ohio" Belmark Vermillion, is now pointed in Canada thanks to judge Sheila Verhulst. After enough reserves to finish twice over, our charming little Ch Macdega Notorious son is now on his way. This pretty boy just turned 8 months old and is an awesome show dog.... thanks to Bev Klassen for her invaluable training and presentation, we could not do it without her!

8/16/09  "Sprite" Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, wins Best of Breed at the St Clairsville show under judge Jean Fournier. This stunning Ch Bode and Ch Fizz daughter is sure to finish soon! Watch for her at the shows with handler Becky Johnson.

8/14/09 "Walle" Belmark Weekend Warrior, Wins a fat 4 points at the Centennial Shetland Sheepdog Club under Jo Virden with his new owners Tracy Hegarty and Julia French. Huge congrats to them and good wishes for his upcoming career. Walle is by Am/Can Ch Bach Belmark On Canvas and out of Kingsland Que Sera Sera, check them out!

8/9/09 "Charger" Belmark High Velocity, was WD for 5 points under judge Mike Macbeth with owner Deborah Luper! We send the biggest congrats to her and what she has accomplished with this barely six month old puppy and at his first show. We expect a great carrier from this elegant and stunning "Ryan" son.

8/3/09 "Esta" Belmark A Sight To Behold, Wins 3 Canadian points towards her Championship. We are so elated that this pretty "Bode" daughter is on her way, when she finishes it will give her sire Canadian Champion 8! She is by Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold and out of Am Ch Belmark Under The Lights. Huge thanks to handler and friend Beverly Klassen for her expert handling.

7/10/09 "Samantha" Felicity Bootylicious, Wins WB under Sue Christy, for another 2 points! She will now take a break to grow a new wardrobe.

6/20/09 "Samantha" Felicity Bootylicious, Wins 2 more point going WB and BOS at the Valpo IN Shows under judge Houston Clark! This brings her point total to 7 with only a month or so of shows.....Sam and Sprite are neck and neck for who will be the next "Bode" kid to finish!

6/6/09 "Val'' is now Ch Belmark Bi The Book!! He finished easily under Rick Thompson at the Lochland Shetland Sheepdog Club going WD and BW, all owner handled. We are very proud of this young dog and thank all the respected judges and breeders that have appreciated his quality. This makes our 4th bred by Champion to finish this year. We are looking forward to "Val" puppies in July so check back with us!
Not to be outdone "Sprite" Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, went WB on the same day!! So she now has both her majors, both specialty wins and is up to 9 points! We hope she will be next to finish!

5/22/09 "Val" Belmark Bi The Book, wins a RWD at the Cincinnati Specialty under Don Combee, for a major, so close.... He only needs the one major win to finish. We are looking forward to getting him done real soon. Watch for him at the upcoming shows.

5/22/09 "Samantha" Felicity Bootylicious, picks up a major under breeder judge Don Combee at the CSSC, in Hamilton OH, she also follows that up the following day with a major reserve, and WB, BW and BOS the following day under judge Rick Gschwender. We are very proud of this exquisite tri bitch and for all the heartfelt compliments that we have gotten on her this weekend...... the future is bright.

5/16/09 "Shakem" is now Am/Can Ch Belmark Shakedown! gaining his Canadian Championship in short order and in his yearly coat..... we can't thank handler Beverly Klassen enough for yet another quick finish.

5/3/09 "Shake'Em" Ch Belmark Shakedown, is in Canada and in his first show weekend has gained 6 points! big thanks to handler Beverly Klassen who does such a marvelous job with our dogs, there is none other we would trust with our special ones!

5/2/09 "Trendy" Can Ch Belmark Trend Setter, has just finished his Canadian Championship and went Puppy Group 1st to boot! Great big thanks to Bev Klassen for her expert training and handling and to the breeder and all around judges that have put him up to his Championship. He finished the weekend as a special with two more Puppy Group 1st, we now look forward to having Trendy back home, and plan to take him to some US shows in the near future.

4/4/09 "Elle" Ch Belmark Elation, finishes easily at the Interlocking specialty under breeder judge Dianne Hawes, going WB and BW for her third specialty major! We send a Huge congrats to owner Kim Furlong and handler Julie Desy who made this all possible. Watch for her at the ASSA National in Perry GA. This is our third Champion this year and second for Bode, we hope many more to come!

Ch Belmark Shakedown; Made all the cuts to Award of Merit and was just shy of the honor this year. We are very proud of this young dog and how well received he was at his first National, having been born on National week last year. We would like to thank Tammie Gabrielson and Meredith Maust who helped with Shakem on some of his cuts and would like to congratulate Kim Unger on her Shakem litter born April 20th of three tri girls, one bi-black boy and one bi-blue male all flashy but appear non white factored!

4/3/09 We would like to send a big congrats to friend and co-breeder/owner Kerri Denter of Felicity Shelties, for her recent wins on "Kayla" Felicity Simply Intoxicating. This beautiful Can Ch Belmark Above The Law daughter, and full sister to our "Callie" Belmark Charismatic, has quickly and at 9 months of age gathered both her majors in whirlwind fashion and picked up two Best in Sweeps and a Runner Up to Best in Sweeps along the way. We hope this girl will finish soon and be Felicity's first homebred Champion!

3/28/09 "Fusion"(above) BISS Can Ch Kingsland N' Belmark Fusion, an Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, son. Wins a 3 point major on March 13th at the Louisville specialty under respected judge Rick Thompson, and he follows that up at his next show weekend on 3/28/09 and goes WD again for a 4 point major at the Central IN Specialty under breeder judge Marcia Bittner. We are very excited about this young dog's show carrier as he embarks for the National and from there to the Sunway team with Nick and Joel, to hit some more shows. We congratulate owner Beverly Klassen of Attridge Shelties and to breeders Larry and Linda Baum, who made it all possible. Repeat of this litter now on the ground.

3/15/09 "Ryan" is now Am/Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Bragging Rights, finishing today with a WD and BW for those last 2 points! We are so proud of Ryan and handler Karen Munster who finished him from start to finish in 5 show weekends. We are so happy and proud of Ryan and his upcoming kids.

3/6/09 "Ryan" Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Bragging Rights, wins another 2 points at the Franklin TN shows, under the expert handling of Karen Munster. That brings him to just 2 singles to go. We are so very happy and proud of this young dog and how well he has done this year...... more to come from Ryan and his puppies soon.

He had a wonderful weekend at the Central Ohio Shetland Sheepdog Club going WD and BW on 2/21 for a 5 point major and on 2/22 with another 5 point with a WD and BW!! This beautiful non white factored blue boy finished at 10 months of age with four majors. A huge thanks to judges Kim Schive and Janet Turnage-Nahikian for these wonderful wins! 2/21/09 "Elle" Belmark Elation, by Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold also picked up a 5 point major win at the Central Ohio SSC, putting her on 12 points both majors, she is now needing just 3 singles to finish! huge congrats goes to Julie Desy her handler and possibly biggest fan along with co-owner Kim Furlong!

2/21/09 Our new boy Ch Trevanne's Roddick is now finished and is home!! We are so excited and grateful to Colleen Andrus of Trevanne shelties for allowing Andy to come live with us. He is by Can Ch Trevanne's Rudy Giuliani x Can Ch Trevanne's Shiraz, who is a full sister to Am/Can Ch Trevanne's Pelletier. We are very excited about this new addition and know that he will make a great impact to our program.

2/19/09 "Ryan" Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Bragging Rights, wins on 2/19, 2/21 and 2/22 with WD and BW all along finishing with a BB on Sunday! This gives him 11 points both majors in only three weekends. He was expertly handled by Karen Munster!

2/15/09 "Ryan" Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Bragging Rights, wins a second major at the Des Moines show under James White at the Keomah Kennel Club show in IA, under the expert handling of friend Karen Munster! Ryan has 8 points both majors in just two weekend, we can't wait for this boy to finish!!

2/1/09 "Colby" Argos Storybook Dreams Collide, a "Val" Belmark Bi The Book daughter ( and littermate to our "Slippy, Belmark Give Em' The Slip), just picked up a fat 5 point major today under judge Carolyn Ing, at the Chicagoland Specialty. That is after winning Best In Sweep ! What a day for Belmark dogs, congrats to breeders Laura Ross and Allison Gilbert and owner Allison Gilbert on this wonderful win!
*Flash* "Colby" won a second major at the Indy shows on 2/13/09 for an additional 4 points!!

2/1/09 "Elle" Belmark Elation, won Runner up to Best in Sweeps, and RWB on 1/30/09 at the Three Rivers SSC of Pittsburg Specialty, and then followed that up with a Best In Sweeps and WB for a fat 5 point major the following day under breeder judge Jane Howard!! We are so proud of this lovely bi-black girl and her exceptional reception to all those that have seen her. And send huge congrats to new owner Kim Furlong and handler Julie Desy for the wonderful wins!

2/1/09 "Trendy Belmark Trend Setter, picked up a 3 point WD under James Noe in Canada with handler Bev Klassen. This is Tredy's first show weekend and he has made us very proud with his wonderful show attitude! We would also like to send one out for Belmark Charismatic, Callie who took a Runner up to Best in Sweeps on 1/30/09undr breeder judge Karen Parker. Both of these puppies are fresh in Canada and just getting their feet wet in the ring, we are looking forward to many more wins for this duo, huge thanks to handler Bev Klassen of Attridge shelties for all her invaluable work with these babies.

1/31/09 "Ryan" Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Braggin Rights, picked up a major at the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Georgia. Winning WD and BOS under judge Jean Fournier. This is only his third day in the ring with handler Karen Munster and after picking up two other reserves the other two days, one being a major reserve. Ryan is on his way, and ready to take the ring by storm!

1/17/09 "Maizy" Belmark Brynmere Tarnished Silver, just won her first points and  made it a major! At 9 months of age, Maize, a Ch Belmark Lo And Behold daughter, went Best Of Breed over three specials at the MD shows!!! Huge congrats to Sharon Schutte her owner, and handler Jessica Starbuck for this wonderful win. *FLASH* she followed that up on 1/18/09 with a WB for 2 more points!

1/4/09 "Shake'em" Belmark Shakedown, wins again going WD and BW under respected breeder judge Nioma Coen, he also went RWD the day before under Tom Coen. We are very happy with the wins under these judges.

on 1/3/09 "Elle" Belmark Elation, went WB and BW under Tom Coen and the next day on 1/4/09 Under Nioma Coen she goes WB and BOS!!! What an accomplishment. This is Elle's first show with new owner, Kim Furlong and handler Julie Desy. We send both of them a BIG congrats. We are very proud of these wins for sire, "Bode" Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, what a weekend!

12/14/08 "Shake'em" Belmark Shakedown, Picked up a 5 point major reserve on 12/13 to the BB dog, and followed that up on 12/14 with a 4 point Specialty major under judge Elaine McIntyre out of the bred-by class. This gives Shake'em both his majors and 8 points, not bad for his third show weekend. To add to our excitement Shake'em's littermate sister Belmark Brynmere Tarnished Silver, picked up a specialty major reserve on the 14th as well! We have great expectations for the puppies of this breeding as they all start hitting the ring.

11/22/08 "Hoola" Can Ch Belmark Hullabaloo, finishes in style grabbing a 5 point win going WB, BW and BOS today. This is the 5th Can Ch for her sire Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, "Bode" and a half sister to Belmark Bi The Book, "Val" who only needs one major to finish his American title. We are very excited about this young girl and look forward to what the future may bring for her! Huge thanks to friend and handler Bev Klassen who again hit it out of the park!

11/15/08 "Shake'em" Belmark Shakedown, wins a major going WD and BW today under judge James Noe at the Lima Kennel Club show in Columbus OH. We are so thrilled in the reception our little boy had at the shows this weekend and how many people truly appreciated his qualities. Shakem also took a major RWD on Friday under Sharon Redmer!  Due to the time of the year, it will be harder to hit many shows coming up but we hope to continue with this puppy in the coming months.

11/13/08 "Cheree" BIS Can Ch Belmark Recherché, picks up her first Am points and makes it a major at the SSC of Greater Tucson Specialties! She took 4 points under judge Bob Kelly going WB and BOS and also won a RWB under Rick Thompson earlier that day. This is the first show weekend out in the US and her first show weekend with handler Tammie Gabrielson.  We can't wait to see how this girl continues to do on the west coast.

10/10/08 "Hoola" Belmark Hullabaloo, wins 4 points going WB, BW and BOS! We are so happy and now the end is near with 9 points on this pretty bi-blue bitch. To boot she also won Best Puppy In Group, what an honor. Huge thanks to Bev Klassen who is so close to finishing this little stinker, we could not do all of this without her!

10/10/08 today "Shake'em" Belmark Shakedown, at the tender age of just 6 months to the day won WD and Puppy Group 2nd! We are so proud of this "Bode" son and hope that it is the beginning of a wonderful carrier!

10/4/08 "Ryan" Can Ch Jade Mist Belmark Braggin Rights wins WD to finish in 4 straight shows!! Huge thanks to friend and handler Beverly Klassen who made it all possible. This is dog # 7 for this year with her help! We already have Ryan back home and congratulate Larry Baum for his Ryan litter born 9/30/08 of 4 girls and 2 boys. 10/3/08 "Ryan" Jade Mist Belmark Braggin Rights wins WD and BW for 5 points, this brings him to 8 point in short order! We are so excited about this young dog's future.

9/27/08 "Ryan" Jade Mist Belmark Braggin Rights, just picked up a 3 point win going WD and BW his first time in the ring with friend and handler Bev Klassen. We are very excited about his future.

9/26/08 "Paris" Can Ch Belmark Paris In The Spring, Am pts, just finished in grand style taking a Group 4th under judge Deborah Graffman for 5 points! Thanks to friend Sheri Whitsitt who helped greatly in making this possible and to handler Cheryl Pike who handled her so beautifully.

9/26/08 "Bode" is now Am/Can Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, he finished in Canada under the expert guidance of Bev Klassen. He will now be coming home permanently to entertain the ladies!

9/21/08 " Sprite", Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, picked up her first major win under breeder judge Jo Virden at the Iowa City Specialty, going WB and BW! This was a fat 4 point win, we are so thrilled with this specialty major on this yearling baby.  Huge thanks to Jo Virden who found her in this large entry and picked out yet again another Bode kid in the pack!

9/20/08 "Chicago", Am/Can Ch Attridge Windy City, finished his American Championship going WD and BOS at the Iowa City Specialty under Rick Thompson. He finished with three majors at just 3 years of age. He is now the third Am/Can Ch Trevanne's Whirlwind kid to finish this year from Frozen Semen! HUGE congrats to friend and owner Beverly Klassen who really deserved this win!

9/12/08 "Hoola", Belmark Hullabaloo, is now Canadian pointed going WB and BOS for a fat 5 points at the Edmonton Kennel club. Thanks to handler Bev Klassen for the expert presentation. We are so proud of our little wiggly worm, who actually held it together to get the nod!!

9/7/08 "Sprite, Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, picked up her first US point at the Clermont County Kennel Club under judge Harry Smith, winning WB and BOS. We are very proud of this little girl and her littermates' accomplishments so far at just barely a year of age.

8/30/08 "Bode" Am Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, gained another 4 points today, so only one more single to go, and two weeks to wait for the next show........more to come.

8/24/08 "Bode" Am Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, attended his first show in Canada with good friend Bev Klassen and gained 5 points going BB!! We are very excited to have him half way there already!!!

8/3/08 "Val", Belmark Bi The Book, wins a major under judge Amy Safdir at Canfield OH!! We only need one more major to finish him, we are so excited!

8/1/08 "Randy", Can Ch Mystic's Show Off At Belmark just finished going WD and BW for three points, huge thanks to friend Bev and Jen who handled him to these wins! You girls are the best!!

7/28/08 "Val" went WD and BOS again for his last needed single. He now has 9 points, we are anxious for those majors!!! looking forward to the rest of the summer, we feel he is on a roll.

7/27/08 Today was a great day for our dogs, "Val", Belmark Bi The Book gained two more points going WD and BOS at the Marion OH shows bringing his total to 8 points, owner handled....... "Randy" Mystic's Show Off At Belmark, won two more points in Canada under the capable hands of Bev Klassen, he now only needs two points to finish. And a Phoebe son, by Justin, Karmuns White Mocha Magic, just gained his first major win, which brings his point total to 8!!! Huge congrats there!

7/25/08 "Sprite", Can Ch Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, finished the same day as "Fusion", this makes Champion number 4 so far this year for sire Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, "Bode". This could not be possible if it were not for the talent and friendship of handler Bev Klassen who works tirelessly with my dogs!

7/25/08 "Fusion", Can Ch Kingsland Belmark Fusion, now owned by Bev Klassen finished today in Canada at the tender age of 8 months, with just a small handful of shows. This boy was bred by Larry and Linda Baum and has made us all proud, check out the Rising Stars page for details!! *FLASH* Fusion is now a BISS !!

7/11/08 "Randy" Mystic's Show Off At Belmark, Wins WD and BW for 3 Canadian points under judge Leslie Rogers, followed the next day on the 12th by some more of the same! So he has 6 points in two days. More details coming soon!

7/4/08 "Val" wins WD and BOS at the Wauseon show! he will be hitting some more selected shows this summer so watch for him in the ring!!

6/30/08 "Val" wins WD, BW and BOS at the Sandusky KC show in Lima OH, owner handled and under Harry Smith..... this brings his point total to 5 in very limited showing. We hope to have Val out more this year to finish!!!

6/28/08 "Capri" wins his second major within a few days, what an awesome puppy! Going WD, BW and BOS at the Champaign IL KC under judge Houston Clark. This brings him up to 8 points with both majors in just two weekends. big thanks to friend and handler Karen Munster for the finishing touch! WE could not be more happy..... then at home "Val", Belmark Bi The Book, won RWD at the Lima shows on 6/28/ and 6/29.

6/19/08 "Capri" gains a WD and BW for 2 more points at the Valparaiso KC show under Roger Hartinger! This brings his point total to 5 points with just two back to back wins, as a puppy and owner handled!

6/15/08 "Capri", Belmark Capri, won a good sized major under judge Charles Olvis at the Echo Hills Kennel Club Show in Troy Ohio. These are his first points, owner handled to boot and out of the Bred-By class. This is only his second weekend of shows after his debut at the National where he won his 6-9 class. We are very proud of him and send him best wishes as he hits the ring with Karen Munster next week.

6/13/08 "Fusion", Kingsland Belmark Fusion, acquired 2 more points in Canada so only 3 more to go for this cute little baby's Championship!! Thanks handler Bev Klassen. We hope  this will be Champion number 3 for his sire, Ch Belmark Lo And Behold, "Bode". 

6/2/08 "Sprite", Belmark Shaken Not Stirred, our beautiful blue Ch Bode and Ch Fizz daughter just won her first Canadian points going WB, BW and BOS today with friend and handler Bev Klassen at a large 5 point entry. This makes two more Bode kids with Canadian points and nearing their Championships!

Then back at home on May 18th, In Flint MI, Bode puppies made us proud, under breeder judge Jo Virden, "Bindy", Can Ch Belmark Shake That Booty,  was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite for 2 points (unfortunately the major broke) and her brother Can Ch Belmark Second To None, "Wyatt", now owned by Bev Klassen, won Winners Dog for 2 points, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed over a Special! Not bad for a puppy. We send a big Thank you to Jo Virden for recognizing this look-a-like duo!

"Rumor" is now Am/Can Ch Belmark Rumor Has It!!!! She finished on April 26th with a Specialty win at the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Birmingham in Montgomery AL under judge Dr Daniel W Fleitas.  We are so happy, from beginning to end she finished her Am Championship in just over 2 months. This "Monet" daughter has a swift moving gait and coat, bone, and that family look! This is our second Am Ch so far this year and a half sister to Bode. We are very excited about her future! we LOVE this girl. We send a Huge thanks to handler Karen Munster for all her AM points and to Bev Klassen for finishing her in Canada!

We send a HUGE congrats to Roger and Pam Sadberry for their pretty 6-9 puppy bitch, "Ella” Belmark Enchanted at SevenOaks, who went WB/BOS for a major on 3/22/08 at the Southern California Specialty under judge Lorraine Still. This was Ella’s second show. She was also Runner up to Best In Sweeps that day. She continued her winning ways by going Best Puppy At Bakersfield on 4/5/08. We are very proud of this little Posie daughter!!!!

"Bindy", Can Ch Belmark Shake That Booty, just finished under the capable hands of Bev Klassen today April 4th. She finished easily with a 5 point win on 3/2 and another 5 point win on 3/22 going WB and BW under Peter Machen, so she just needed the nod today to call herself Champion!!!! We are so very proud and happy of her win and looking forward to the National next week.

 "Wyatt", Can Ch Belmark Second To None, finished easily in Canada, starting on 2/29/08 and with friend and handler Bev Klassen (who presented this green baby beautifully) he quickly picked up the WD class. He followed this up with a WD BW and BOS the following day on 3/1/08 this brings his point total to 6 in two days of shows!!! *Flash* He quickly picked up another WD on Sunday for 2 more points..... so he has 8 pts in one weekend. The following weekend on 3/8/08 he picked up the needed WD for his Championship!
His sister "Bindy", Belmark Shake That Booty, did not want to be outdone by her brother..... so on Sunday 3/2/08 she captured the 5 point win that he needed to finish in one weekend going WB and BW to her brother!!! HUGE thanks to Bev Klassen for the ride!! She knows how to do it!

*Flash* "Rumor", Can Ch Belmark Rumor Has It, is now American major pointed going WB, BW and BOS at the Des Moines sponsored Keomah Kennel club show on 2/17/08, under judge Tomas Gomez. This gives her a fat 4 point major her first weekend out with handler and friend Karen Munster, she followed that up with a WB the next weekend for another point! and a WB on 3/9/08 for another major! 8 points so far; Then a few days later at the Louisville show on 3/12 she picked up another 3 point major (one dog shy of 4 points). This brings her total to 11 points with THREE majors!!!! all in about one month. We are very happy and looking forward to those last 4 singles!

*News* "Val", Belmark Bi The Book, is now pointed going WD and BW at the Indy shows on 2/7/08, for 2 points!!! This is his first show back as an adult, he then followed that up at his next show on 2/24 under Linda More taking another WD, followed by a WD on 3/6/08 this brings his show total to 4 points!

*News* a Bode daughter Tess, is now U-Ch Springhill Angel Eyes Riptide,  at 4 months she took 2 Best Puppy in Shows at a UKC show in Maryland.  Then at her first official shows (UKC) She got Best of Breed twice 2 majors towards her UKC CH and finished with a Group 4th. She already has another win towards her Grand championship with a second Group 4th and will be to AKC shows soon. Congrats to owner Avis May and breeders Veronica Covatch and Michelle Wachob

*News* on 1/19/08 a Bode son, competed in his first point show in Chile and won BEST OF BREED  - BEST OF GROUP 2 – beating much older dogs, from Chile & Argentina congratulations to Samuel Barlow, owner and Maureen Schurr breeder!!

*News* "Tucker" Belmark Sirio of Granite Gables, wins Best Puppy In show at the Palm springs show. He is off to a wonderful start, owner handled to this win. We hope for many more to come. Tucker is a Player and Rachel son!!

"Paris", Belmark Paris In The Spring, Am pts, has just picked up 5 more Canadian points on November 16th and 17th, picking up 3 and 2 points accordingly. She is now a single away from her Canadian Championship, we are very happy, the goal is near!!!!

"Sky" UWPCH GRCH Belmark Skyward Bound,  is now the only Shetland Sheepdog with a Weight Pull Championship. Pulling 1165 lbs not bad for a 24 lbs sheltie. Sky is also on the All Star list and he is ranked in the top 20 dogs in the Nation all breed. A huge congrats go to Lori and Domingo Sauceda for this great accomplishment with Sky. This beautiful  tri Rebel son is also AKC pointed in conformation and has made his mark in many ways. We hope for many more brags to come from this stunning boy!

Can Ch "Rumor", finished on October 12th with a Best Of Breed win for 3 points, thanks to Tracy Tuff for her last win and specially to good friend Bev Klassen for her invaluable friendship and for doing all the work with rumor and so many others!

 Belmark Rumor Has It, "Rumor", is sitting on 9 points, just one single away from her Canadian Championship! She quickly picked up 5 points on September 1st going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners under judge Butch McDonald, and then the following weekend on the 9th under Rita Walker she won again a Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for another 4 points. She has also accumulated a few RWB's along the way. We are so proud of this solid, golden sable Monet daughter, and send a HUGE thanks to our friend and handler Bev Klassen for the awesome wins!

Belmark Bi The Book, "Val", did not want to be outdone, he picked up a nice major Reserve with handler Karen Munster at the Danville shows in Chicago Ill, followed by a coupe other reserves before returning home to grow some coat. He will be back out when his new wardrobe comes in!

6/24/07 CHEREE finishes with a bang in Canada taking a 5 point win from the classes for an
 ALL BREED BEST IN SHOW, since she is also a puppy she also won the BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. What a thrill to own such a magnificent, well moving and stunning blue girl and to have her win a BIS from the classes to finish as a puppy is just above our wildest dreams! This is all due to friend and handler Bev Klassen of Atttridge shelties, who makes it all happen in style and in whirlwind fashion. We cannot thank her enough for making our little wild child into a polished show girl in three short weeks!!!!

REBEL Finished easily going WD and BW on 5/19 and then won WD again on 5/21 to attain his Canadian Champion!!!!! It is now Can Ch Belmark Above The Law. Rebel finished in two weekends!!!!!

REBEL has attained his first points on 5/11/07, gathering a 3 point WD in Canada. Thanks Bev Klassen.
He then followed that up with 2 more points the following day on 5/12!!!

GIANI wants to congratulate his "mom", Bev Klassen on her AWESOME wins at this year's ASSA National, taking 1st in the Open Sable bitch class, 1st Novice bitch and 1st Open Black bitch class. The Open Black bitch Can Ch Attridge Pandora boasts also winning Reserve Winners bitch, WOW!!!! This lovely bi-black girl is a Giani daughter!!!! What a great National, CONGRATS Bev!! We are excited about our upcoming Giani litter as well!

PLAYER wins WD and BW at the Auburn IN Show on March 10th. That gives him 2 more points towards his American Championship. We hope this will be our next boy to finish this year!

PHOEBE wins her first points at the Chicago shows this weekend on 2/25/07 going WB and BW for her first AKC points!!!

BODE finishes on 2/17/07 with a fat 5 point major at the Des Moines Specialty, Bode boasts three majors total, two being specialty majors and 16 points all in under one year, with limited showing!

 PHOEBE wins back to back RWB at the Chicagoland Specialty shows on February 3rd and 4th, she then attends two days of UKC shows on the following weekend February 10th and 11th to finish easily her UKC Championship from start to finish!! On 11/11/06 Our little darling, "Nike" attended the Miami Valley Sheltie Club Specialty Match, and won

*Flash* 5/26 and 5/27 "Phoebe", Belmark Practically Perfect, won Back to Back Specialty Best In Sweeps at the Cincinnati Specialties in Hamilton Ohio, she also won her classes both days, Thanks to judges, Maureen Schure, Linda Griffith for the sweeps and Donna Garten- Kisser and Barbara Alderman for the breed.

On May 20th, "Bode" Belmark Lo And Behold, won another major reserve under breeder judge, Mark Lucas under the expert hands of Karen Munster, Thanks This dog now has 6 points, he will be back in the ring when in full coat.

Also Congrats to UKC Ch Belmark Laugh Out Loud, and owner Angel Maria for their quick one weekend finish UKC and being in the Best In Show ring twice, and earning a top 10 standings to boot.  May 13th,a "first" happened for our beloved sheltie breed: U-Ch Belmark Skyward Bound "Sky"  owned by Domingo Sauceda of Kalamazoo, MI. qualified in UKC weight pull!    He was first in his weight class  -
pulled 485 lbs! This gives him his first leg on the U-WP title. Alright! This quality dog is also AKC pointed and a Belmark Above The Law, son!

and On 5-14-06 Can CH Belmark's Whispers In The Wind, is now a Canadian Champion. She is a lovely bi-blue girl owned and loved by Mz. Juty of Coastal View Shelties: A Huge Congrats!


Today April 9th  Jana Clark's bi-black male (and littermate to Kristy); Int Ch Belmark Midnight Stealth wins his International Championship in one weekend with all V1 ratings! Congrats! And then went on to win an AKC reserve on May 27th.


April 7th Belmark Tell It Like It Is, "Parker" wins Winner Dog, Best Of Winners, Best Of Opposite and Best Puppy in Group for 5 Canadian points! Thanks to handler Kim Wendling


"Paris" "Phoebe's" dam, Belmark Paris In The Spring, wins WB and BOW today, March 23rd, for four points at the Sudbury dog show, also winning a RWB on the 25th , Thanks to handler Kim Wendling.

Also Congrats to Stephanie Richardson and her bitch; Belmark Berwyn Bond Girls Are Forever, a "Monet" daughter won her first point on March 25th at the Kentucky Kennel Club show going WB and BOS. And then on March 26th she went WB, BW and BOB for two more points!!!

Also on March 18th; Belmark Black Army Flag, a "Rebel" son,  participated in a large scale dog show in Chengdu China, and won his second Puppy Group BOB, he is off to a running start being that he has only been there for a couple months.

 

2006 ASSA NATIONAL  NEWS

Belmark Lo And Behold, "Bode" did us proud National week by winning 4th in his large 9-12 month Futurity class. He is now out with Karen Munster to attend some more shows!!! We also need to brag as Belmark Practically Perfect, "Phoebe" made the cut in a class of 53 (largest regular entry for the year), 9-12 month sable bitch, she was very well received. And/U Ch Bach Belmark On Canvas, "Monet" Made his cut in a quality packed BOB class.

Belmark Paris In The Spring, "Paris" did not want to be outdone and left out, although she did not get to come with us to the National; she still won Winners Bitch and Best Of Opposite under the capable hands of friend Chris Schmitt at the Eaton Ohio shows. Now she is pointed in both US and Canada. We hope to finish her when fully coated. She will be out with Karen Munster.
